HI! I’M LAUREN
I’m a licensed esthetician and holistic practitioner, and created Healing Roots Wellness for the woman who’s tired of “quick fixes” and ready to feel at home in her body again.
We’re all walking different paths… and healing doesn’t always look pretty.
Sometimes doing the “right thing” means sitting with the emotions we avoided, grieving what we outgrew, and releasing what we carried for other people. It’s uncomfortable…but it’s also where everything changes.
This space was created for the in-between the messy, the sacred, the rebuilding.
IN THIS REALM OF LIFE…
I truly believe we don’t fully heal if we keep choosing what’s harming us…even when it’s familiar. Healing is learning to release what no longer serves you…before it consumes you. And yes… I learned the hard way.
MY TURNING POINT
About eleven years ago, I hit a place where I couldn’t pretend anymore…not with my health, not with my choices, not with the relationships and patterns that were keeping me stuck.
If I’m being honest, the toxicity was both internal and external. I looked “fine” on the outside, but I was exhausted, inflamed, disconnected, and carrying more than I knew how to hold.
That season woke something up in me: a desire to live cleaner, softer, and more aligned…not as a trend, but as a survival skill that turned into a calling.
Before that turning point, I was still trying to “be good” while ignoring what I felt. I was doing what I thought I should do…while my body kept asking me to slow down and listen.
Healing became a roller coaster…and then it became a devotion.
Because life will always have temptation, chaos, and pressure…but it also has purity, beauty, and peace. I started choosing the version of me that could actually receive that peace.
That’s what I hold space for now: the return to yourself.
It’s a matter of perspective,
HOW DEEPLY YOU CHOOSE TO LOVE YOURSELF,
and how ready you are to stop abandoning your mind, body, and spirit.
Self love is a decision.
So is healing.

LESSON…
I learned that healing doesn’t start when someone else changes…it starts when you tell the truth about what’s not working.
When I began choosing myself (for real), everything shifted: my boundaries, my body, my relationships, my spirit.
Now I help other women come back to themselves through skincare, ritual, nervous system support, and womb centered work…because healing isn’t just mental. It’s physical. It’s energetic. It’s embodied.
I’ve been a licensed esthetician since 2008, with a background in both spa and medical settings. Over the years, my work expanded beyond skin…because I kept seeing the same truth:
When a woman feels safe in her body, everything changes.
Ive built and served communities in Atlanta, Georgia, Dallas, Texas, and now Tampa, Florida…offering organic skincare, sugaring hair removal, and holistic healing experiences rooted in intention and results.
Nature is medicine for me. Always has been. And I weave that into everything I do.
